The driver of a 40-foot-long trailer truck struck a parking lot utility pole, causing the pole to fall on the truck's cab, injuring the driver and causing the vehicle to plow into the side of a nearby house.
Using police photographs and field measurements, Drake Exhibits constructed a scale-model of the accident scene recreating the parking lot, adjacent buildings, trailer truck and series of utility poles and wires involved in the accident. The model was initially constructed to show pre-accident conditions and photographed to produce graphic exhibits. It was then completed to represent site conditions after the accident.
Drake's forensic art and courtroom exhibit services helped the defendant utility company achieve a favorable settlement.
