Fall from Third Floor Deck
A construction worker broke his neck after falling into the un-barricaded stairwell of an apartment building undergoing construction.
On behalf of the plaintiff, Drake Exhibits provided site reconstruction and trial exhibits for litigation that resulted in a $12 million jury verdict (at that time the largest in New Hampshire history).
Utilizing on-site dimensions, construction drawings and insurance investigator's photographs, Drake Exhibits prepared a scale-model illustrating the un-barricaded stairwell in relation to the apartment building structure. Drake also created a fully operational model of a Lull telescoping forklift to illustrate how the worker climbed to the third level deck of the building.
