Multiple Vehicle Accident
Gray County, TX

In March 2006, wildfires swept across several Texas counties. In Gray county a multiple vehicle accident resulted when smoke obscured the vision of drivers as they drove under an overpass on I 40.
A lawsuit was brought against one of the trucking companies whose driver was in the sixth vehicle involved.

Drake Exhibits was retained to reconstruct the highway setting, and all vehicles involved in a 3D computer model. The model was used to place vehicles at different points in time and create views of each part of the accident. The images were created in a both plan views and 3D views and used in two PowerPoint presentations at trial to illustrate the sequence of events that took place during the accident.

The defendant trucking company received a defense verdict.
