Explosion Scene Documentation, 3D Modeling and PowerPoint presentation for use at trial
Excavation work for a sewer construction project along a main thoroughfare in Pueblo, CO broke a gas line and caused a leak into a nearby building where the owner was sleeping. The gas company arrived at the scene and began repair work on the line, but did not check for occupants or gas leaks in the building. The gas collected in the building and eventually ignited and exploded, severely injuring the owner and starting a fire in the building. Drake Exhibits documented the explosion site and created a graphic presentation to illustrate the site, the timeline of events leading up to the explosion, the investigation and the testing that located the path of the gas into the building through the ground to a floor drain.
